International Women`s Day

Am 8. März war der International Women`s Day.

Auch die Twiga und ihre Mitarbeiter*innen, nutzten diesen Tag!

Gemeinsam mit Freiwilligen gingen sie auf die Straßen und forderten mehr Chancengleichheit.

Sie tauschten sich untereinander aus und nutzen den Tag um ihren Standpunkt in der Gesellschaft zu verdeutlichen.

Auch Daniphord war natürlich an diesem Tag dabei. Er ist bei dem Lauf durch die Straßen ganz vorne im blauen Sakko zu sehen. 

Daniphord Worte dazu.. 

"This is how we celebrated the International Women's Day at Twiga Vision Tanzania. We had a demonstration around the streets of Arusha and later we conducted a woman's discussion on their rights.

We thank God that, the women were very keen and participated fully in the discussion. 

Later local elected leaders of the area had something to share with the women and thanked Twiga Vision a lot for being a strong platform for women to speak out their concerns!
